MEET MISSY MILLER

Missy Miller’s equestrian journey began in Alabama, where she developed her passion for riding from a young age. Her dedication and talent soon caught the attention of the equestrian community, leading her to remarkable opportunities and achievements.

At just 14 years old, Missy had the privilege of participating in a clinic with Darren Chiacchia, a member of the 2004 Athens Olympic team. Inspired by this experience, she became a working student for Chiacchia, laying the foundation for her future success in the sport.

Missy’s ascent through the ranks was swift. By the age of 16, she had already won her first international FEI competition, demonstrating her exceptional skill and determination. Her competitive spirit led her to represent her country at the North American Young Rider Championships for four consecutive years, culminating in an individual silver medal and a team gold medal.

Continuing to push her boundaries, Missy achieved significant milestones in her career. She completed her first advanced-level event at just 18 years old, showcasing her readiness for higher levels of competition. By 21, she tackled her first 4* event, solidifying her status as a formidable competitor on the international stage.

Missy’s thirst for knowledge and experience led her to pursue higher education at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). After graduating, she embarked on an enriching journey in Europe, honing her skills under the mentorship of renowned trainers such as William Fox-Pitt, Dirk Schrade, Bettina Hoy, and Christoph and Jurgen Koschel. Additionally, she had the privilege of working with esteemed figures like Bill Levett and Captain Mark Phillips, further expanding her horizons in the equestrian world.
